Free NM PreK
We participate in New Mexico’s state-funded PreK program, offering Free NM PreK for all 3- and 4-year-olds. Your child will enjoy a rich, high-quality early education at no cost, preparing them academically and socially for kindergarten.
Before & After
Wrap-Around Care
For busy families, we provide extended care before and after PreK hours. Drop off as early as 7:00 AM and pick up as late as 5:30 PM. This wrap-around care ensures your child is in a safe, familiar environment all day, with enriching activities and cozy rest times. Flexible, reliable care means peace of mind for working parents.
Social-Emotional Support
We believe emotional growth is as important as academics. Our teachers gently guide children in learning empathy, self-regulation, and friendship skills every day. We use evidence-based practices (like the Pyramid Model) to foster social-emotional competence, a key factor in school success. In our caring environment, children build confidence and learn to express themselves – skills that last a lifetime.
Early Health Screenings
Your child’s well-being is our priority. We conduct regular vision, hearing, dental, and developmental screenings to catch any potential concerns early. By partnering with families and health professionals, we ensure every Peppermint Stick kid has the support they need to grow healthy and strong. Early detection means we can address needs sooner and set your child up for success.
Safe & Creative Spaces
Kids learn best in environments where they feel secure and inspired. Our campus features bright, child-friendly classrooms and a spacious outdoor play yard with fun playground equipment and even a little garden. We are located in a clean, safe neighborhood near a park. Inside and out, our spaces are designed to spark creativity – whether children are painting, building blocks, or exploring nature, they’re always supervised in a safe setting.
